I’m sure it comes as no surprise that Kosmo aka Alvaro Orlando… the new “Master Pickup Artist”….. is actually just an actor…..and a piss poor one at that! Check out this link:

Now I know that all reality shows have a level of acting in them these days. There is a formula to making popular reality shows. It’s also not uncommon for actors to be cast in them. But learning pickup is so drama filled that it seems unnecessary to really need to act out scenarios. Anyone who has actually put time in the field knows this.

Here’s the thing: I can tell you for a fact that the limo scene at the strip club is totally staged! How do I know this? Scenarios like that do NOT happen in a Gentlemen’s Club. As a former Gentlemen’s Club manager from Las Vegas, I can tell you this…You have to keep the pimp hand strong. Dancers are not allowed to just come and go to some dude’s limo as they please. Working the bounce from a gentlemen’s club is a work of art and requires finesse. It does not happen by asking a girl, “Hey you wanna come to my limo?” or whatever chode thing he actually said. The girl is not just able to walk out at any moment to meet some dude in his limo….PERIOD!

These guys are not in a whore-house and if the managers are not keeping the pimp hand strong and letting their girls call the shots, they club will crumble. There is an art to the illusion that strip clubs provide. Stuff like pulling a girl to your limo just like that will never happen like this…. Sorry to wreck the illusion you may have about the realities of picking up a stripper [actually. quick tip: Call them ‘dancers’ or ‘entertainers’….not ’strippers’], but to truly pull them, look forward to my upcoming book on the real deal for seducing dancers.

Back to the limo scene. Besides the fact that you can tell there is a camera crew right there and that it is not being shot by “hidden cameras”, this kiss scene also does not happen like this. It only happens like this when you need to create a “come from behind” scene. So what do you do? Pay some girl to shoot a scene where she looks bored and waiting for him to kiss her and then they do…. God, this scene was acting at it’s worst!! You can even see the disgust and anger that Matador and Mystery are trying to hold back.

I hope Mehow’s upcoming reality show has more integrity than this show ended up having. Think of how much more interesting this show would have been without actors. You can now chuckle when you watch reruns of the show and they have that little announcement before the field pickup scenes: “The following is shot with hidden cameras. There are no actors in the club.” Well, except for the contestants…. and perhaps if we need to shoot some extra scenes to fit into the reality show formula!
