Truth be told, I don’t always like going to clubs and doing a bunch of cold approaches. I’m not saying I don’t typically have a blast doing it, but sometimes I don’t feel like getting all gussied up and chatting up everyone in the club. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit back with friends and enjoy a few cocktails with them, feeling no need to go around and sarge the place. Sometimes it’s nice to not even go to the club in the first place. Let’s be honest…I love going to bars and nightclubs, but they do get old!

Anyone who has seen me in field and noticed how I can keep an entire group of girls enthralled with me and then choose the girl (or girls) I want from them will finally know what it is I’m doing….and then some! Upon further reflection of the subject, I’ve come to decide that Mystery’s commonly accepted theory on approach anxiety is bullshit! In fact, I’ve decided that feeling you get commonly called AA probably isn’t anxiety at all, we’ve just mislabeled it in our head.

I’m going to start this off by saying that this is not necessarily a prescription for solid game in itself but that it can often point you in the right direction. I used to specialize in high energy sarges. The mantra to enter the set with a higher energy than the set seemed to ring true. But there were some problems. Sometimes I didn’t feel high energy and if I didn’t then I wouldn’t approach. Also, I often gave off the infamous “dancing monkey” vibe.

I can recall watching the first episode of “The Pickup Artist” and the key distinction I noticed between the budding contestants and the masters, is that Mystery and crew were completely calm and relaxed in set.

So lately I have been taking that to an extreme just to see how far I can take it. I have been approaching sets with the least amount of energy necessary to still be able to hook the set…I’ve actually found you can go really low and still have them completely into you.

I’ve also been testing to see how little I can say and still hook the set. I will approach and automatically assume the girl is into me and see if I can get her qualifying herself to me right off the bat. A fellow PUA in my area took me to lunch the other day and asked how I get Same Night Lays consistently (I think he’s seen it happen almost every night we’ve gone out together), so I decided to collect all my thoughts on the subject and post them here. I think there are actually just a few elements to it: Sometimes the simplest things are the most profound.

First off let me say this: Women LOVE sex…probably more than you do. Pretty much everything they do is in relationship to getting more sex. They think about it constantly, even when they think they’re not thinking about it (e.g. they’re thinking about fashion which is merely a means to acquiring more sex). Women are genetically programmed to crave having a dick inside them–any dick! I’m very excited about this announcement as I’ve been working a long time on this project. But here it is at long last: PUAster.com, a social networking site for all Pick Up Artists!! I’m not saying you have to do this indefinitely, but I am suggesting that if you are a heavily routine-based PUA (i.e. Mystery Method, Speed Seduction, or similar stacking methods), try dropping every line, gambit, and story you typically use in your stack. Try doing it for a week (or better yet…a month!) and see what happens. You might be surprised that you can still get the girl without any of it, (Read the article)
